The George Hotel Guest House, Weymouth, Dorset

Carole and Jay Leatherland took over The George Hotel Guest House at the end of March 2010, as a result of appearing on the BBC TV programme 'To Buy Or Not To Buy' - and this was the wild card!

The George Hotel was originally a large Victorian vicarage and is situated in a quieter area on the Dorchester Road, offering free parking space for all of our guests in our private, off-road car park.

Our six comfortable guest rooms and full English breakfasts cater for all who wish to enjoy this popular seaside resort and all the amenities it has to offer - tourists and business clients alike.

Carole and Jay are investing both their time and money in refurbishing the Guest House, whilst continuing to provide friendly Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

As well as general improvements like Flat Screen TVs and new bedding, major work completed so far includes installation of new double-glazed windows, a new modern bathroom and new kitchen.

The George is 5 minutes' walk from Weymouth's sea front and beach on the beautiful Dorset coast, on main bus routes and about 15 minutes' walk from the town centre, marina, ferry port and railway station and is an idea base for:
